I use Google Analytics (G-9W6V2Y1B5L) to see which posts get read. It uses cookies and tells Google things like the page you opened and the browser you're on.

This blog uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show and measure ads, and that includes personalised ads based on your visits to this site and other sites.

Readers in the EEA, UK and Switzerland get a consent choice, and analytics and ad cookies stay off until they choose.

Disqus comments

Comments under each post run on Disqus. It loads when you get near the end of a post and uses its own cookies. Anything you post there is handled by Disqus.

Email updates

If you subscribe, your email address goes to Sender, the service that sends the updates.

Images

Many cover images load from Unsplash, so your browser connects to Unsplash to fetch them.

Cloudflare hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, so your requests pass through Cloudflare to reach these pages.

On your own device

If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser.
